CheltenhamZero is a wide-ranging partnership of local organisations – private sector, public sector, charities and community groups – working together to achieve net-zero carbon emissions in Cheltenham by 2030.

Vision 21 have shaped and delivered the CheltenhamZero project for Cheltenham Borough Council since it’s inception in 2021. After the completion of a successful three year contract to grow and develop the partnership we have now handed this thriving project over to Cheltenham Borough Council.

Celebrating 3 years of Net Zero action in Cheltenham:

• • Together we have built an inspiring community of 178 local organisations who have made a commitment to reduce their emissions and support the transition to Net Zero in Cheltenham by 2030.
  • Our Net Zero Accelerator Programme made fully funded support available to local SMEs (small to medium sized businesses) working with 10 local sustainability experts t deliver tailored advice, workshops, webinars and training. Vision 21 also offered 1-2-1 advice to 20 eligible SMEs. 75% or which went on to access additional support and 55% successfully received grant funding for their projects.
  • Over the three year period we have delivered talks, workshops and co-hosted networking events attended by 600 people helping to build networks and conecting members with local solution providers to share skills and knowledge.
